Service Description

A very unique treatment made specifically for individuals who have experienced trauma, currently experience deep emotional stress, suffer PTSD, are highly stressed (always in fight/flight mode) or generally find it very difficult to relax. Having studied psychology, I have come to understand that after a traumatic experience, the entire body, especially the nervous system can become dysregulated, harboring deep stress in the body's tissues. Various gentle techniques are used to encourage your mind to calm, for your muscles to relax, your nervous system to rebalance and those deep emotional stressors to be released. This treatment is most effective for individuals experiencing deep stressors and may require at least 2-4 sessions within a month for the most benefit. It is recommended the day of the treatment and the following day to completely rest, to allow the body to heal and reintegrate. The general idea of the treatment is for your mind to reconnect with the body on a cellular level. No discussion of trauma or emotional stressors will be had, the main determining factor is the mental strength of the individual wanting to move beyond what is holding them back and causing extreme tension within the body. Outcomes from this treatment vary from person to person, the majority feel complete inner and outer calm for several days, however with extreme emotional distress or extreme nervous system disregulation, few individuals have felt emotional for a few days and normalise afterwards.
