Abdominal Scar Release is a gentle, therapeutic treatment for women following C-section, abdominal or gynaecological surgery. This work can be done on scars of any age, 6-8 weeks post natal - there is no expiry date. It is never too late—scar release can still successfully improve tissue mobility and reduce pain months or even decades after your procedure. Scar tissue can sometimes contribute to tightness, pulling, numbness, sensitivity or a feeling of being “stuck” around the abdomen. This treatment looks beyond the visible scar, working with the scar, abdominal wall, diaphragm and ribs to support greater tissue mobility and comfort. Your treatment is individualised, gentle and responsive to your body and its stage of healing. If your scar feels tight, restricted or simply doesn’t feel like part of you, this work may be for you. Book your C-section & abdominal scar release appointment today. Please note public holidays incur a 10% surcharge. Please allow 24 hours notice for cancelling, out of consideration for the therapist and other clients. A cancellation fee will apply within this time for cancellations or no-shows.
Cancellation Policy
Please give 24 hours' notice to enable another client to book and out of respect for the therapist. Cancellations and no-shows within this time will incur a cancellation fee of 40% of their treatment (this includes gift vouchers).
