  • Rejuvenating foot treatment

Give your feet the pampering treatment they deserve. If you are on your feet all day, or never had your feet massaged, then this is a must for you. Our feet are our main carriers, they put up with so much pressure every day, it is time to give back which can help your whole body feel better. The treatment consists of a hot towel on your feet, followed by reflexology foot massage to soothe tired, achy feet. Finishing with basic lymph drainage which is gentle but powerful, aiding the immune system and help reduce inflammation. As an add-on option, go to the 'add-on' section and choose the $50 option. Please note public holidays incur a 10% surcharge.

  • Add on: TMJ treatment

This is a treatment everyone should have, especially if you suffer headaches, clench your jaw, have a click or experience pain in your jaw. We overuse our mouth and jaw muscles every time we eat, speak, smile, essentially all the time. This can cause issues if your bite is not straight or if you tense often without realising causing pain and headaches. The treatment works on the TMJ area, under and inside the jaw (with a glove), the muscles on the scalp that are involved with jaw movements, areas of tension in the scalp and neck. This is not a gentle treatment, if you have problems in your jaw it may initially cause pain but provides relief in the long run and the pressure will not be more than you can handle. 2-3 treatments may be necessary (once a week) to provide full relief and as part of the treatment, you will also be taught the basics on how to treat your jaw at home for long-term jaw health. This option is only available for an add-on to any massage or facial. To have the treatment on it's own, go to the 'Massages' section and choose the $60 TMJ treatment option. Please note public holidays incur a 10% surcharge.

  • Remedial, lymphatic, deep, relax, sports

Remedial massage is excellent for pains and aches, or if you have experienced an injury. Techniques used include trigger point therapy, myofascial release, pin and stretching, strength testing techniques, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and the massage strokes to aid in healing. Lymphatic drainage is a very gentle but powerful massage. It works with your immune system to speed up the healing and detoxing. If you have been feeling sluggish or suffer inflammatory conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, or autoimmune disease such as lupus, and even chronic fatigue, then lymph drainage could help. Please note, the massage is the same for every individual, however the outcome is different. Discuss this with the therapist. Deep tissue massage is for those who often get deep tissue as it is quite firm and can cause pain for days if you are not used to it. Working within your pain threshold, firm techniques are used to reduce muscle tension and fatigue. Sports massage is great for those who exercise a lot but it is not a firm massage as that can add to your already tired and inflamed muscles, instead there is more stretching, elongated techniques and working to release tension in joints and all soft tissue. Relaxation is aimed to reduce stress and anxiety from life's pressures by calming the mind and body. This treatment is between soft and medium pressure and is quite slow to calm the nerves, body and mind. Pregnancy massage is excellent for expecting mothers to relax and get relief from the pressures of pregnancy. It is done side-lying and unless indicated, full body is recommended including the feet since these would be experiencing a fair amount of tension and neglect. Please note public holidays incur a 10% surcharge.

This is a wonderful way to aid relaxation, the Indian face and scalp massage is firmer than a traditional massage in a facial where you will have tight areas in the face loosened whilst experiencing that pampering feeling. This service is only available as an add-on to any massage or facial.
